Regarding the design of the program, you can make it as luxurious as an expensive book. For example, you can make the cover glossy with box binding. Of course the cost of the book will be a lot more expensive in this case. If you would like to save some money, you may also choose to print everything using the printer at your home.
The program book can be a very important item in your wedding, you should try to create it with care. Normally you will start creating it one to two months before your big day. This is because you may not think of the detailed rundown till it is about two months before your wedding!
